Green reign supreme

Green House are once again the inter-house sports champions at Luther Thorne Memorial Primary School.

This year the school celebrates its 30th anniversary and the green machines had every reason to smile on Tuesday at the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic, Wildey, St Michael grounds as they tallied 608 points to win by a whopping 111 points ahead of Yellow House who came second with 497, Red House with 437 and Blue 385.

When the junior sports day was held last week Green House were out front on 317 points, followed by Yellow 272, Red 220 and Blue 208 points going in this week’s infants sports.

The defending champion maintained that lead with good performances in several events which included the 40m dash, sack race and a number of other novelty events.
