Blood in xmas single mood

He is known mostly for his soca music. Actually, when is comes to Crop Over, he is a veteran; but Blood is showcasing his versatility. In November he released his Christmas single Children, Go Where I Send Thee, a traditional African American spiritual song, in collaboration with Barry Reid.

BLOOD PROMO

Blood told Bajan Vibes that he would put out a Christmas song every year, if he could.

“I love Christmas, and if I could do a new song every year I would. I have been trying for the last couple of years to release another song, but time never permitted me to,” Blood said.

And indeed putting out Christmas music is nothing new to Blood; it is just that he has been “a little busy”.

“Since the Christmas Rendezvous album of 2004 things just got too busy,” he added.

Here are the lyrics to

Children, Go Where I Send Thee.

Oh, children, go where I send thee.

How will I send thee?

I’m gonna send thee one by one.

One for the little bitty baby was born, born,

Born in Bethlehem.

Oh, children, go where I send thee.

How will I send thee?

I’m gonna send thee two by two;

Two for Paul and Silas;

One for the little bitty baby was born, born,

Born in Bethlehem.

Oh, children, go where I send thee.

How will I send thee?

I’m gonna send thee three by three;

Three for the Hebrew children;

Two for Paul and Silas;

One for the little bitty baby was born, born,

Born in Bethlehem.

Oh, children, go where I send thee.

How will I send thee?

I’m gonna send thee four by four;

Four for the four knocking
at the door;

Three for the Hebrew children;

Two for Paul and Silas;

One for the little bitty baby was born, born,

Born in Bethlehem.

Oh, children, go where I send thee.

How will I send thee?

I’m gonna send thee five by five;

Five for the five that came back alive;

Four for the four knocking at the door;

Three for the Hebrew children;

Two for Paul and Silas;

One for the little bitty baby was born, born,

Born in Bethlehem

Oh, when the saints, go marching in,

Oh, when the saints go marching in,

I want to be in that number

Oh, when the saints got marching in.

Oh, yeah; oh, yeah; oh, yeah.

Oh, children go where I send thee.

How will I send thee?

I’m gonna send thee eight by eight;

Eight for eight who stood at the gate;

Seven for the seven that all went to Heaven;

Six for the six that never got fixed;

Five for the five that came back alive;

Four for the four knocking at the door;

Three for the Hebrew children;

Two for Paul and Silas;

One for the little bitty baby was born, born,

Born in Bethlehem.

Born, born, born in Bethlehem.
