Eden Lodge Trust issues benefits in time for Christmas

Young Jayden Brewster-Adams was hailed for outstanding school work yesterday as the Eden Lodge Youth Charitable Trust held its annual awards ceremony yesterday.

His award was among 25 handed out to children of less fortunate families.

Another 25 are due to be presented later this week, so too 85 Christmas food vouchers to needy families and presentations to another 90 households.

The Trust is primarily funded by the Sandy Lane Trust and the City of Bridgetown Cooperative Credit Union (COB).

During yesterday’s ceremony at the COB’s Lower Broad Street office, CEO Steve Belle said the credit union remained committed to working with the Trust.

“Next year our contribution to the fund will be even stronger. We will continue our relationship with the foundation to make sure it can reach out to many more,” he said.
