There were reports of flooding across Barbados today as heavy rains continued to lash the island.

The Barbados Fire Service received reports of situations at Warners Terrace, Goodland Gardens and Waxwell Park in Christ

Church, as well as Heddings in St Philip.

Forecasters say a trough system has been affecting the island, and weak unstable conditions are expected to continue.

We’ve been to the island in good weather and bad. But the bad is still 20^ hotter than we get, so I would say enjoy the hospitality and make the most of it. You may not get the tan you want, but a tan fades but the memories last a lifetime.
