Police website hacked

The website of the Royal Barbados Police Force has again been targeted by cyber criminals.

A group calling itself AnonGhost has hacked into the barbadospolice.gov.bb website.

It is not clear when the site was attacked or the reason for the action.

Information suggests that the group is known for hacking and defacing government websites around the world, warning it was watching them.

Police public relations officer acting ASP David Welch told Barbados TODAY that the cyber attack does not affect any aspect of their operations.

The police force website was hacked earlier this year.

Soon from now we are going to have to forget the computer and use back the manual books etc and keep them in a safe, remember that crooks brains always work overtime because they have more time on their hands.
