In 1992, Wickham led a group of Trinidadian and Barbadian colleagues in producing the first Jouvert band which was followed by one Roberts Manufacturing truck. The next year, she organized a Kadooment band and  Jouvert band in what became known as Foreday Morning, attracting young and old alike.

“Today, Foreday Morning is the fastest growing Kadooment function or event in the island. This year it raised some 40 bands,” her citation read.

In accepting the award at the Radisson Aquatica Resort last night, Wickham said: “Foreday Morning is my baby. She has now grown into a little girl and she is on her own.”

Alluding to how the idea for the event came about, she added: “It was a very selfish thing, my involvement with Foreday Morning and Crop Over. I just like to have a good time, I like to fete, I like to party, and I love rhythm.”
