GAIA to welcome Jet Blue’s first Bajan pilot

Jet Blue’s first Barbadian captain will fly into the Grantley Adams International Airport (GAIA) tomorrow afternoon.

Ophneal Kellman, who has been flying with Jet Blue since March 2007, will touch down on home soil at approximately 2 p.m., in command of the newly launched A321 aircraft.

His proud parents, Margaret and Ophneal Kellman Snr, will lead a welcome party to meet Flight 661.

The 37-year-old Kellman resides in Brooklyn, New York with his wife Lisette.
