Four wounded in stabbing incidents

Four men, including two Route Taxi operators, were injured in two separate stabbing incidents yesterday.

The first incident occurred between 10 am and 10:30 am at the Nursery Drive Terminal.

Police said three men, who were involved in that fracas, received multiple chop wounds about their bodies. Two of the men were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by private vehicles, while the other man was taken by ambulance.

Two of the men were detained after one underwent surgery. The other man was treated and released.

Two route taxis were reportedly damaged.

In the other incident, a man was stabbed in his left hand by another man at the Accident and Emergency Department of the QEH yesterday.

According to police, the stabbing was the result of an ongoing dispute between the two men who are neighbours in a Christ Church community.
