New equipment for polyclinic

The Sir Winston Scott Polyclinic will benefit from another Welch Allyn otoscope.

The equipment,which will be used in the diagnosis of ear and eye challenges,was presented earlier today by vice president of Sandstorm Goldbank Limited, Brian Robinson.

Chief public health nurse Anne Murrell said the clinic was grateful for the donation and it would definitely be beneficial.

“This was the fifth donation of this kind so now each doctor will be able to use it. I would like to thank the donors of this special equipment,” Murrell said.

The equipment is worth $2,800.

    This clinic needs a massive overhaul “in my opinion”. If manage better,the frustration in patient services would be reduced drasticly. Again another area where services could change an image of Barbafos.
