Columbus Short in Foreday Morning Jam

Columbus Short 1

If American actor Columbus Short has his way, he would be in Barbados every year for Crop Over.

The Hollywood actor gave the festival his stamp of approval this morning as he took part in the Foreday Morning Jam.

Look at me right now, look at me. I’ve never been more filthy and happy about it. It’s amazing,” said Short, a masquerader in Island Fusion band.

I was talking to my friend earlier today [and] she said this is one thing you never miss. This is now an appointment for me, every year I must be here. This means I’m gonna bring everybody from the States out here. We are here living like kings and queens like we’re supposed to,” he added.

You’re a jackass. You’re giving a wanted fugitive the thumbs up to party in your country.

Trust a bajan to get such publicity for a struggling country and instead of saying “Thank you ” to the gentleman for ‘bigging up’ our country which btw needs ANY boost it can get…..thinks it fit to say “you’ll jump straight to jail next”…….WTF SMH…..I’m thankful that he saw something in this beautiful Island that many locals don’t see

You can’t pass through a U.S. airport with a warrant They will hold you ‘pun de spot. (Or other third-party airports which have an extradition treaty with America like Trinidad’s airport) He better have his attorney file something immediately for de court. With specific time/place when he will surrender if he doesn’t want America to make an example outta him… I’m glad I am not him. You embarrass a justice so? You cruising to be put behind jail until yuh trial man. All they have to show is history of “flight risk”. DUMB. You ain’ see what they did to Sir Allen Stanford?

The legal fraternity is alive and well around here ( on this page) Yet it’s so hard somehow to find a good and honest lawyer these days. May be the these facebook practitioners are different.

The man is wanted in the US for beating his wife – he skipped his court hearing to party in Barbados – the Government invite him to a lavish event and the newspapers are profiling him every day – given that domestic violence is such a major issue in Bds – this type of hero worshipping is inappropriate. The man should be shunned – he needs to go home and face the music (excuse the pun!)
