Two charged for cannabis found at port

Two St Michael residents have been charged in connection with the discovery of cannabis hidden among foodstuff at the Bridgetown Port four days ago.

Cecilia Cynthia Clovis, 26, of Jones Gap, My Lords Hill and Kirk Orlando Rowe, 40, of Licorish Village have been charged with possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation of three pounds of the drug.

Clovis and Rowe were due to appear at the District “A” Magistrates Court today.
