Crash in Lancaster

Two people were seriously injured today in a two-car collision. The accident occurred this evening around 3:40, p.m. near Lancaster Great-House, approaching the roundabout in Lancaster, St James.

Red swift rested in bushes.
Second vehicle involved in the crash rested in bushes.

The identities of the injured were not available up to publication time; however public relations officer of the Royal Barbados Police Force, Inspector David Welch told Barbados TODAY the injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Traffic approaching the area was snarled as a result of an oil spill caused by the same accident.
