Woman arrested after search of party boat

Lawmen this weekend continued their crackdown on illegal activity on party boats, arresting a young woman for drug possession on Independence Day.

Christina Nakeisha Hinkson, 24, of Garden Land, Country Road, St. Michael has been charged for cannabis possession.

She was held when members of the Marine Unit searched the Jolly Roger while it was docked at the Wharf Road.

The MV Buccaneer was also searched the same day but there were no arrests.

Let the punishment fit the crime. More education more love and respect. Get the women bashers and killers and domestic crimes against women take priority.

that is no justification for breaking the law. Do it in the privacy of your home! Isn’t the entertainment and drinks and food and other activity on the boat enough to relieve stress?

They need to do what they do on the airlines, charge the owners! That way they will do all the relevant searches before setting sail. I can almost bet that this girl was hiding that for one of her male friends when they realised the search was on.

I hope none of you are ever selected for Jury Duty. As you are not being rational or recognising that young people make mistakes and will experiment. Calling her names, condemning her, what has she done that is so against societal rules? Murder, Rape, Violent crime, child abuse…oh I forgot possession of a substance. WOW!!! Not recognising our prehistoric judiciary system and how it treats our young people. Only when it knocks on your front door you will recognise.
