She should have won Artist of the Year! May we assume that Americans are highly favoured at the “American Music Awards”?

I’m a disappointed fan that travelled to Barbados to see her perform in her own town …..and she cancelled ….wonder if she realised how much we spent on flights and accommodation !

So, strippers, prostitutes are now to be considered icons? Only in BIM. This girl has the morals of a gutter snipe and she is the BAJAN icon? What the hell is happening to this country

    • Sabrina Brathwaite November 25, 2013 at 5:57 pm

& why are you saying “Only in BIM”? Barbados did not give her that title, it was AMERICA who gave her that amazing award! Even if Barbados was to give her that title, she DESERVES IT!

Denny, who are you to judge? Be happy for the girl and stop being a hater….you are only blocking your own blessings.

  27. Sonia Ifill
Sonia Ifill November 25, 2013 at 7:36 am

I second that Julia, they even talked about Jesus. One thing I do know, she’s making her $$$$.

  28. Petra November 25, 2013 at 9:26 am

Renny Johnson, the AMERICAN Music Awards has nothing to do with Barbados. Her personal life had nothing to do with her being named an icon by that AMERICAN event; it had to do with her contribution to music.

Rihanna don’t worry, no matter what good you achieve there is always some Bajan to put you down. The more they beat you, the higher you will rise. Keep representing #Barbados 246 on point. Good luck in your future endeavours.
