Jazz singer, Ci Ci, has no plans on slowing down.

Moreover, she intends to continue travelling and performing past the age of 100 while wearing a pair of stilettos to accentuate her legs.

Also known as Celestine Duke, the veteran singer, who now resides in Canada, has returned to the island for a one year visit. In an interview with Barbados TODAY at her home in Mahogany Court Maxwell, Christ Church this afternoon she said she was still very active on the entertainment scene in Canada but decided to return home to spend quality time with her granny who is 101 years old- but who believed she was 50.

“I don’t want to come back just to bury her,” she said, “I want to spend time with her and that is important. There are very few people who have granny and there are even less people who at 101 can still go in the kitchen and cook, that have a mouth on her that you do not want to know about.
