Three cricketers face one-match ban

Fast bowler Michael Holder of St. Catherine and the Ince Transport MTW pair of batsmen Raymond Kellman and Haldain Payne have all been banned for one league match for breaches of the Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) Code of Conduct.

Holder’s offence took place on the opening day of the LIME Elite division fifth round match against ICBL Empire at Bank Hall on June 30, while Kellman and Payne found themselves in trouble on the third and final day of the fourth series First division match against LIME at Wildey on June 24.

In the latest release from the BCA, four players were reprimanded. They include the Sagicor Life UWI off-spinner Ryan Austin, Yorkshire batsman Kurt Wilkinson, ESA Field Pickwick leg-spinning all-rounder Ryan Layne and Shamar Cooke, the St. Catherine batting all-rounder. (BCA)
