A dramatic increase in injuries from an upsurge in violent crimes and road accidents has forced the Queen Elizabeth Hospital to postpone elective surgeries and non-emergency cases.
The Registrar of the state-owned Barbados Community College has challenged the institution’s board of management’s decision to unilaterally scrap the associate degree in nursing and pharmacy.
