Ever since the state-owned National Conservation Commission (NCC) retrenched about 200 workers some two years ago and their “unfair dismissal” case was heard by the Employment Rights Tribunal – only awaiting announcement of the ruling – the pain and suffering being experienced by many of those still on the breadline, appear to be getting worse by the day.
