Finance Minister Chris Sinckler says the Municipal Solid Waste Tax will remain in place for the time being.

Prime Minister Freundel Stuart is urging residents to give the tax a chance.

    Food prices are rising consistently already – however, if it must be put on something then at least the cost would be more evenly spread per person than hitting property owners, businesses and farmers who already have landtax to consider and the maintenance of their buildings.
