Germain pleads guilty to drug and traffic charges

courtAn unemployed teenager today confessed to possessing illegal drugs and breaking road traffic laws.

In addition to the drug possession charge, Jakobi Talik Germain, 19, of 8th Avenue, New Orleans, the City, had also been charged with driving a motor vehicle on Nelson Street, the City that was not registered with Licensing Authority, had a fraudulent registration number plate and was not being covered by insurance. He also did not have a driver’s licence. Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant adjourned his case until December 15, 2016 for possible sentencing. The alleged offences took place on November 25, 2016.
