Flooding; downed tree in the City

Four cars have reportedly been damaged as a result of a fallen tree in the area of the taxi stand on Lower Broad Street, The City.img-20161129-wa0007

However, thankfully no injuries have been reported.

At the same time flooding has been reported in and around The City, including at the historic Garrison Savannah, the site of tonight’s unveiling of the 50th Anniversary of Independence Monument.

I am wondering if any of the “wise” people of St. Joseph are doing anything to save some of this rain water now in abundance in Barbados?

Or are they doing nothing as usual only waiting to moan and groan when they is a shortage?
