Changes for Independence events

Members of the public have been advised that the Reveal of the 50th Anniversary of Independence National Monument will now take place tomorrow, Wednesday, November 30, Independence Day, at the Garrison Savannah, at 7:00 p.m.

It will be followed by the Golden Anniversary Spectacular Mega Concert at the Kensington Oval, beginning at 9:00 p.m.

The 50th Anniversary Independence Day Parade, scheduled for tomorrow at the Garrison Savannah at 8:00 a.m., has been postponed. A new date will be announced shortly.

Persons invited to the Toast of the Nation have been informed that it will now take place tomorrow, Wednesday, November 30, at St Ann’s Fort at 4:00 p.m.

      Not to burst your bubble but that attachment has been photo-shopped. There is no trace of that post or comment anywhere on Instagram.

      Furthermore, I “follow” her on Instagram and I can tell you that she has never (and probably will never) comment on anything in such a classless fashion!

      Well most radio stations including the gov have been highly promoting this thing. It would be very embarrassing for it not to come off.
