Student admits to traffic, drug offences
A 23-year-old student who drove a car without a valid driver’s licence, road tax or insurance was released on $3,000 bail Wednesday when he appeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court before Kristie Cuff-Sargeant.
Shaquile Hunte of Villa Road, Brittons Hill, St Michael was charged with committing those offences, along with possession of cannabis, on November 21.
He pleaded guilty to all the charges.
The magistrate reprimanded and discharged him on the drug charge, but released him on bail on the other counts, ordering him to return to court on March 31, 2017 for possible sentencing.
