Update: Police identify pedestrian injured in Government Hill accident

Police have identified the woman who was injured in an accident at Government Hill, St Michael around 6:15 a.m.

She is  Barbara Layne, 64, of Rock Hall, St Lucy. She remains a patient at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.


According to police, Layne was struck by Michael Greenidge of Hoyte’s Village, St James as she attempted to cross the road.

Layne suffered injuries to her head, hands and feet.
