$10,000 bail for truck driver

courtA 26-year-old truck driver will return to court in the New Year to face a wounding charge.

Davye Romar Deshawn McDonald, of Cottage Retreat, St George appeared before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court Wednesday, accused of wounding Curtis Charles with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him or to do some serious bodily harm to him on November 4.

He was not required to plead to the indictable charge.

McDonald was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 with one surety after the police prosecutor Sergeant Janice Ifill informed the court that the Crown had no objections to his release. However, McDonald must report to the Glebe Police Station every Thursday before noon.

He returns to court on January 26, 2017.

In the meantime, he has been warned to stay away from the complainant.
