Howard charged for fake $100 bill

A 62-year-old St Michael man was not required to plead when he appeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court today on a counterfeit charge.

Robert Henderson Howard of 9D Country Park Tower, Country Road, is charged with having in his possession, without lawful authority or excuse, a forged $100 bill purporting it to be a genuine note issued by the Central Bank, knowing it was forged.

With no objections to bail from the police prosecutor Sergeant Neville Reid, Howard was released by Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant on $1,500 bail with one surety.

His matter was then adjourned until January 15, 2017 when he is scheduled to reappear in the No. 1 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court.
