Water surprise for St Joseph residents

St Joseph residents in the community of Parks Road got a pleasant surprise over the weekend.

A seven-member team from Dial Barbados Inc headed into the rural district to deliver gifts of bottled water to residents who have had to endure severe water outages in recent months.

Residents warmly welcomed the Dial team which included Garvis Samuel-Girard, Melissa Greene, Dwayne Best, Nikitia Severin, Jefferson Skeete, Rommell Marshall and Chris Graham.

The team members said they felt a sense of satisfaction after the exercise, and would be happy to do it again.

Some 45 residents benefited from the initiative.
