Hillary Concedes

Hillary Clinton said Wednesday that her crushing loss to Donald Trump exposed the nation’s deep and difficult divisions, but she urged her backers to give him “a chance to lead.”

In her first public statements since the stunning election results, Clinton also called on other women to take up where she left off and continue the push for the White House, suggesting she may not make another run in four years.

“We need you to keep up these fights,” Clinton said in New York, making special mention of the many women who hoped the former secretary of state was on her way to become the first female president.

“I know how disappointed you feel because I feel it, too,” said Clinton, less than 24 hours after calling the president-elect to concede after his history-shaping run that defied pollsters and galvanized legions of aggrieved voters in a loud repudiation of the status quo. “This is painful, and it will be for a long time.”

She said the long and bitter campaign against Trump showed that “our nation is more deeply divided that we thought.”

But she told her backers: “We owe him an open mind and a chance to lead.”

Clinton and her allies are now left to sort out how Trump upended her once-clear path to become America’s first female president. Clinton called Trump to concede as the results were clear.

Trump — who had used social media as a tool to court support and mock foes during the campaign — sent a tweet at 6:30 a.m.: “Such a beautiful and important evening! The forgotten man and woman will never be forgotten again. We will all come together as never before”.

We cannot delude ourselves that Trump is our friend. It was a presidential election between two evils.
How is Trump going to treat the Caribbean Basin? Remember, he is a KKK sympathiser.

Carson are you an American that you know that Hilary Clinton is a crook. Is your mother a woman and it seems you are happy with the fact that Trump degraded women of the USA and every woman who put the x to his name will pay a penalty. The man has no respect for women. And America blacks, latinos, Jews, Muslim, disable folk will have now to take the backlash of the KKK and his association with Putin.
It is sad that in our world today Evil is made to look good and good to look evil. Mrs. Clinton apologize for her mistakes but has Trump did that no but then he is a chauvinistic male, who thinks that women are to be trodded on, groped in their private parts and goes on TV with Bernie Sanders and described his own daughter as a nice piece of derriere. Glad that you are happy in your life with these kinds of men, but remember as you point one finger at an individual in judgement you get it back four times.

      President Trump.

      Just let that settle in.

When ever there is a square peg in a round hole these results occur. In their haste to install a woman in the white house, the candidate who would have brought home the bacon for the Democrats was swept aside by them. Namely Bernie Sanders.

States Bernie won were won by Trump not Hillarious Hillary.

      Remember that.

I am very sadden by the loss of Mrs Clinton.
America now have a president that they deserve.
Obama policies to help all Americans were blocked by the Republican party.
The american people did not take that into consideration.
Remind me of the people in Barbados who elected the DLP for a second term.

I am sick and tired of people especially men who feel that a women is not capable of running a country ,state or island.
Had not for women controlling house holes, businesses and other things a lot of men would be bankrupt.

Carson again you dont know what you are talking about. Politics is the nasties game around. In all me years America has never had such a candidate that mocked tge cobstitution, insulted his own party members he is a disgusting man he will be a worse than Hitler you mark my words. Putin will also be the tyrant who eggs him on. Just as dems ignored Sanders the republicans ignored Pence who is a far decent man and would be the better President. Protesting is happening now and will get worse.
