The “culprits” that shot at the Police should be laying on a cold slab in the morgue. In a situation like this , Police should have called for back-up and a serious man hunt carried out. Don’t stop until all are caught,………”dead or alive”.

Well, here we are, right in the middle of Rocky Gully; in broad daylight;, in Sargeant’s…just down the road from me, with two “citizens” firing weapons at law-officers. Could not agree more with@Alex above: there is really only one place where such vagabonds ought to “go rest”. And you know what? Both of these citizens returned safely to their place of abode, and those other folks living there…are saying nary a word, preferring to stay silent, rather than possibly saving their sons’or brothers’ lives, by simply calling through to Crime-stoppers.

Save a life…as it might be your own: CALL CRIMESTOPPERS ….NOW…1-800-TIPS (1-800-8477)

You are so right Tony. When citizens prefer to remain silent after witnessing a crime it oft comebacks to haunt them ,or they family or friends. There is a good chance that the idiots are going to confront each other again, most likely in a deadly confrontation. The sad part about all of this ,is that an eye witness,or eye witnesses of the above incident have refused to phone crime stoppers with information. Not only might they have stopped the lost of life, but innocent lives maybe ,could have been spared by making a simple telephone call which not only would have cost nothing ,but would have protected the caller.
Let’s hope eye witnesses wouldn’t ever have to live with the guilt of not making a call that would have saved a life .
