Cashier on theft charge granted bail

A 50-year-old cashier was today released on $3 000 bail after making her first appearance before a Bridgetown magistrate on a theft charge.

Roslyn Cherlyn-Ann Ifill, of Lennox Avenue, Goodland, St Michael, is charged with the theft of $5,460 belonging to Budokai-Do-Martial-Arts Inc.

She denied committing the offence which allegedly occurred sometime between April 2015 and April 2016.

With no objections to releasing Ifill until her next court date – January 24, 2017 – Magistrate Douglas Frederick granted the accused woman bail with one surety.
