Griffith sings to victory

Lisa Griffith is the winner of the 2016 Richard Stoute Over 21 competition.

She beat out nine other contestants last Sunday evening to take the title singing Rise and I Am Changing.

Lisa Griffith won the competition with 879 points.

Griffith amassed 879 points to take the title.

Alicia Ifill was second with 829 points. She sang Hideaway and Unconditionally.

Stephan Hope was third with 801 points. He sang Lady Soul and This Time.

Other competitors were Amber Woods, Joanne Haynes, Jaleesa Greaves, Troy Arthur, Richelle Johnson, Christine Broomes and Taurean Grannum.

There was a special appearance by Destiny Ifill, who sang I Believe I Can Fly and The Way We Are.
