I had was to listen to Estee carefully even though he promise to put subtitles at the bottom of the Large screen there in Haggat Hall and Fairchild street. David Boy I will never forget when you used to go to Cumbermere and you used to come over to where I was staying and we would talk politics over a cup of tea for hours and this was every single day. You seer that beautiful and intelligent lady standing at the right side of the late David Thompson? Note it down and remember my words. That lady Mrs. Michelle Obama WILL become the second female, the second black, the second wife of a president, to hold or become the President of the USA. So be it written, so shall it be done. So sayeth the Lord.

Always to be remembered for his role in the CLICO scandal that wrecked the lives of hundreds of Barbadians. Especially our senior citizens. Lest we forget.

I remember PM David Thompson for his inspiring opening address to the Soroptimist International Conference in Barbados when he spoke to over 900 women from over 60 different countries. He received a standing ovation.
Mr Thompson’s message that day of hope for a better future for all reverberated around the world.
