UPDATE-Shooting in Jackson

Police are investigating an unnatural death, which occurred at Jackson, St Michael this afternoon.

Lawmen have not yet released the name of the victim, who is said to be in his mid-30s.

However, they have confirmed that the man died following a shooting incident in the area of the Nazarene Church around 2:40 p.m. Friday.

The victim, who was apparently shot in the back of the head, was treated by emergency medical technicians on the scene before he was rushed by ambulance to the state-run Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Police Emergency at telephone number “ 211”, Crime Stoppers at 1-800 –TIPS (8477), the District ‘A’ Police Station at 4307246, 4307242, or the nearest police station.

    Bullet hole to the back of head. This is the second death “execution style” in a short space of time. Is there a “hit-man” in BIM ???.
