Cook lands herself in hot water

courtA female cook has found herself in hot water over an expensive mobile phone.

Michelle Diana Charles, 41, of Taylor’s Gap, Hindsbury Road, St Michael is accused of stealing a Samsung S6 Edge Plus cellular phone, worth $1, 584, belonging to So Youn Nam.

When she appeared before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant this morning in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court, Charles pleaded not guilty to the offence which allegedly occurred on September 30.

With no objections from the prosecution to bail, Charles was allowed to leave the court on $2,000 bail.

She will reappear in court on January 5, 2017.
