Hollingsworth denies attacking police officer

courtA 34-year-old Christ Church man today told the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court he was not guilty of committing several offences against a police officer.

Kamal Tito Jermaine Hollingsworth of 2nd Avenue, Harts Gap is charged with resisting, assaulting and using insulting language towards Police Sergeant Ryan Brathwaite in the execution of his duties.

He is also accused of damaging a pair of pants belonging to the Crown without lawful excuse.

These offences allegedly occurred on September 26.

Hollingsworth, who was granted $3,000 bail by Magistrate Douglas Frederick, re-appears in court on January 9,  2017.
