Accused arsonist granted bail

courtA St James man, who is facing an arson charge, was granted $5,000 bail after he went before the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court Friday.

Michael Terrance Gilkes, 51, of Mount Standfast was not required to plead to the offence of destroying the house of Michael and Karen Gilkes by fire on February 16.

He returns to court on November 18, 2016.
