Police investigate aggravated burglary at gas station

Three masked men robbed the SOL service station at Jackman, St Michael around 8 p.m. yesterday.

According to police, the three men, one armed with a firearm, entered the establishment and demanded cash from the cashier, before escaping with an undisclosed sum on money.

The culprits also robbed a male customer of jewelry and cash.

Police are appealing to anyone with information about the incident to contact police emergency number 211, Crime Stopper at 1-800-8477 (TIPS), the District ‘A’ Police station at 430-2770, or the nearest police station.

Lawmen are also urging the public, business owners and employees to exercise greater vigilance at this time of year as a result of the darker conditions in the environment.

    These types of establishments where there is plenty cash and no drop box , is in need of surveillance systems / security cameras. Barbados has changes so business must move with the times.
