No deportation of James
Convicted murderer Arleigh Hector James, who was released from prison early July after two decades after killing his wife and stepdaughter, is still resident in Barbados, despite recent reports that he would be deported to St Vincent where he was born.
This afternoon when Barbados TODAY visited the Christ Church home where James has been staying with family members since his release over two months ago, the former prisoner, who beheaded his 35-year-old wife Debra James and slashed his 14-year-old stepdaughter Sabrina Arlington to death back on May 1, 1994, said he was not prepared to speak.
“I do not want to talk to anybody right now,” he said, in a terse comment.
However, his son Ashley King had earlier made an appeal through Barbados TODAY for his father not to be sent back to St Vincent where he said his father’s life would be in danger.
