Pryme denies wounding Cumberbatch

COURT TODAY BLOCKDavid Alleyne Pryme was offered bail by Acting Chief Magistrate Douglas Frederick Monday.

That was after the Burkes Land, Brittons Hill, St Michael man denied unlawfully and maliciously wounding Carlos Cumberbatch on July 12.

The unemployed 53-year-old accused, who is represented by attorney Mohia Ma’at, could not take advantage of the offer, though, since he had no one present to stand as surety for him.

That being the case, Pryme was remanded until Wednesday when he is expected to return before the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court.
