Duo facing separate charges granted bail

courtTwo St Michael men were Tuesday granted bail after pleading not guilty to separate charges.

Adrian Andrew Vaughn, 45, of #3 Arendale Apartment, Government Hill, St Michael is accused of assaulting Larysa Gittens on August 15, occasioning her actual bodily harm.

Appearing before Acting Chief Magistrate Douglas Frederick, Vaughn, a taxi driver, was granted $3,000 bail with one surety.

He is expected to return to court of November 23.

The second man, Earl Iverson St Hill of Fitz Gap, Westbury Road, St Michael was also granted $3, 000 bail when he appeared before Frederick.

It is alleged that the 41-year-old vendor used threatening words towards Shurland Clarke.

“I going do a drive-by shooting on Tudor Street where you work, I going shoot up your girlfriend, shoot you and come over to your house and shoot whoever in the house,” he is alleged to have told Clarke.

The incident allegedly occurred on August 4, 2016.

St Hill’s case was adjourned until November 24.
