Terminal fracas lands two before the court

A fish vendor and a route taxi driver accused of causing a disturbance at the Nursery Drive Terminal last Saturday, have pleaded not guilty to that charges resulting from the incident.

ZR operator Andre Anthony Lovell, 38, of Strathclyde Crescent, Barbarees Hill, St Michael and vendor Ikema Katrina Sobers of  Durants, Christ Church appeared before in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court earlier yesterday.

The two are jointly charged with the August 19 offences of intentionally damaging Andre Devonish’s windshield and using unlawful violence against Nigel Mayers which caused others present at the scene to fear for his safety. Their third charge is causing a disturbance at the Terminal the following day.

Lovell faces an additional charge of assaulting Mayers.

There was no objection to bail and while Sobers was granted bail at $3,000, her co-accused’s bail was $5,000.

The two return to court on November 24.

Both accused were represented by attorney-at-law Kevin Miller.

    IMAGINE HOW STUPID THESE TWO MUST FEEL NOW .IF ONLY THEY HAD ONLY TAKING A MOMENT TO THINK ,MAYBE THEY WOULD HAVE SAVE THEMSELVES SOME CASH AND SOME TIME .

    BUT , TO HEAR HIM CALLING HER A FOOL, AND SHE REPLYING BY SAYING, “LOOK THIS FOOL CALLING A FOOL A FOOL”, IS TELLING YOU INDEED HOW STUPID BOTH FOOLS ARE.
