Woman no longer interested in prosecuting Trotman

COURT TODAY BLOCKForty-one year old Kevin Ricardo Trotman entered a Bridgetown Court today, prepared to answer three charges, but the complainant had a change of heart and advised the magistrate she was no longer interested in the matter.

Trotman, of Woodbourne, St Philip, had pleaded not guilty to assaulting Janel Miller, damaging her television set, bed, mirror and fan, as well as stealing $500, which belonged
to Miller.

However, in a ruling that surprised many in the in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court, Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant granted Trotman $3,000 bail and ordered him to pay $150 in court costs by next Friday, when he returns to court.
