Mechanic says his hands are clean

courtAn auto body mechanic from Christ Church Wednesday said he was not guilty of four charges against him.

Oswaldson Erickson Hutson Small of Lot 1, Hopewell, St Christopher, Christ Church is accused of assaulting Special Constable Carolyn Sargeant in the execution of her duties.

The 26-year-old is also charged with resisting arrest and obstructing Constable Sargeant in the execution of her duties.

The alleged incident occurred Wednesday.

There was no objection to bail by the prosecutor.

He was granted $5,000 with one surety by Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant in the District “A” Magistrates Court.

He is due to return to court on October 10.
