Kudos to our athletes

Barbadian athletes made an impressive showing on the track in Rio today.
First out the blocks in the men’s 200m this morning was Levi Cadogan in heat 3. He placed 7th in a time of 21.02 seconds.
Next was Ramon Gittens, in heat 5, who clocked 20.58 seconds.
In the following heat, Burkheart Ellis Jr finished fourth in a time of 20.74 seconds.
Competing in the Women’s 100m hurdles Kerre Beckles placed 6th in 13.01 seconds.
Despite their best efforts our athletes failed to make it to the next round.
