Babies born with microcephaly at QEH

Health authorities have confirmed that two babies born at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital ( QEH) have microcephaly, a birth defect linked to the ZIKA virus.

Health Minister John Boyce is scheduled to address the matter at a news conference scheduled for 3.00 p.m. this afternoon.

Microcephaly is a medical condition in which a baby’s head is smaller than normal due to poor brain development.

After reading article my question is, do they or parent have the virus?

The mother did not present with Zika, she was not one of the mothers being monitored. Of course zika symptoms are sometimes mild and many who have it don’t seek medical attention.

I wanted to see what the connection is with Zika as that is a major issue. Waiting to see. This connection seems more than just a mosquito.

they mess up as usual, they might have miss diagnosed the illness as a mere flu, now the babies are born with no neck, they realised it is zika, , so they fronting to save face, how will they investigate, the mosquito does not have to be in their area, to bite them/if they travelled, /was bitten overseas, it would have been reported, when they went for treatmet

Can you prove what you are saying?

How can you blame the doctors at the hospital?

Has any of the mothers told you they were ill and was mis-diagnosed?

Some of us give our mouths too much liberty without facts.

Has it been proven conclusively that Zika causes microcephaly?
