Jobless man denies stealing money

COURT TODAY BLOCKA New Orleans, St Michael man today avoided spending time on remand at HMP Dodds after the prosecution said it had no objection to bail for the 28-year-old.   

Jamal Omar Hackett went before the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court charged with stealing $235 belong to belonging to Alvin Dixon, on July 23. Hackett of Hinkson Gap, New Orleans, has denied the charge.

Magistrate Douglas Frederick granted the unemployed Hackett $1, 500 bail and adjourned the case until
November 21.
