This is madness , police killed a man an ungodly act, and before dealing with the thugs that execute the man, they charged his friend.

Reading some of these comments make me sad – obviously free education in Barbados has been wasted.

I agree that he should have turn himself in but did he deserved to loose his life because of a police vengeance circumstances surrounding his death is sketchy and need to be investigated and not by the police this is why we need an external and unbiased agency to investigate these matters in the case of this young lady I hope that she was trying to help him to surrender

I WOULD OF DONE THE SAME THING IF THE WANTED MAN WAS MY FAMILY OR VERY GOOD FRIEND. YOU SHOULD NEVER DESERT YOUR FAMILY OR CLOSE FRIENDS.

Harbouring a criminal is a Crime in itself completely separate to whatever crimes Lashley was charged with committing. Secondly, I am not anti-police as I know a few and have respect for the few that I know, but let us not be deluded into thinking that all police investigations in Barbados are transperant and fair. You would either have to be completely oblivious to half of the stuff that happens in this country to believe so. Whatabout the scenario where the two British women were raped and the police arrested and charged the wrong man even though the two women repeatedly til them that that was not the man who raped them? And that was a publicized scenario, so I don’t even have to get into all the incidents I know to have happened that were not made public. There is corruption in every system. That being said Lashley was wrong for hiding, or even shooting at police. But I wasn’t there and I can not xomment on whether he resisted arrest again or was gunned down in cold blood. And if you harbour a criminal and get caught there Is only one outcome.

The man that those British women said was not the rapist is back in jail again and pleaded guilty. Allysen you should check out what offence he pleaded guilty to.
