Forde ordered to keep off alleged victim

courtA District ‘A’ Magistrate today ordered a man accused of physically assaulting a woman to keep far from her as a condition of his temporary freedom. Dennis Michael Forde, 56, of Jackson Tenantry, St Michael is charged with assaulting Takiyah Maynard on May 18, 2015, causing her actual bodily harm.

When Forde appeared before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant he told the court he did not do it. With the prosecution not objecting to bail, the accused was released
in the sum of $8,000 with one surety, but must return to court on October 3.
