Woman makes up with her alleged abuser

COURT TODAY BLOCKA St Michael woman today informed the court that she was no longer interested in pursuing the case against her alleged abuser.

The case was brought four years ago by Lee-Andrea Goddard of Wanstead Gardens against 30-year-old Carlos Hoyte of Brighton, St George.

However, today she appeared to have had a change of heart as the two walked out of the court together, conversing and being affectionate with each other.

Hoyte, a plumber, had been charged on November 4, 2012 with entering, as a trespasser, the rental house occupied by Goddard and inflicting serious bodily harm, as well as assaulting and occasioning actual bodily harm on the woman. He was also accused of unlawfully and maliciously wounding Goddard’s son, Treshon.

As a result of Goddard’s decision to drop the charges, Hoyte only has to pay court costs of $250 by next week Friday.

4 years ago was charged with serious bodily harm and maliciously wounding her son. Unreal, it took four years for this to be heard, this is unbelievable. They may as well not have a judicial system. In this system everyone needs to get bail or else innocent people will be doing time for something they haven’t done.

She got accustomed to the abuse over the years ,so It is no longer a problem . So she thinks.
Baby girl you had your chance and you’ve blown it. No one should want to in any where intervene when the next wave of blows are rained down.
