Labour Ministry to study judgment

The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Human Resource Development having received the judgment of the Employment Rights Tribunal in the matters of the National Conservation Commission versus the National Union of Public Workers and the Barbados Workers’ Union respectively, is currently studying the judgment.

This was revealed today by Acting Labour Minister, Senator Harcourt Husbands who noted that the Ministry was studying it and would soon issue a detailed statement on the matter.

The judgment was delivered today at 10 a.m. in the Large Conference Room, Second Floor, Warrens Office Complex, Warrens, St Michael.

The Employment Rights Tribunal was re-established on February 1, 2015 with the objective of promoting “a good industrial relations climate in the country”.  Its functions are detailed at part three of the Employment Rights Act, 2012-9.

Harry Husbands and Ester Byer along with Gollop and Stuart should stop trying to fool this country. You can fool some of the people some of the times but you can’t fool all the people all the time.
